Road to Dubai Briefing –
22nd November
Road to Dubai Briefing:
In preparation for COP28 in Dubai, this briefing lays out the advocacy and campaign plans in and around COP to put pressure on governments to make concrete progress in at COP.
What are the key messages for COP28, what activities are planned in COP28, what space is there for civil society to make its calls to action heard in the conference, and what are the key messages to get to Heads of State and other decision-makers?
This one hour briefing will hear from experts and groups actively working on putting together key messages, actions and other advocacy and campaigning activities for COP28. In addition, participants will be encouraged to share their own advocacy and campaigning plans in the lead-up to and during COP.
We are building the panel but hope to have speakers from Global Citizen, Glasgow Action Team and other active organisations.
